Christmas Open House - Sun 29 September

It was great to be able to share some of the wonderful products from the new Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue at my Open House last Sunday.

Thanks to those who called in - I enjoyed catching up with you and sharing these Christmas products which I love. I hope you enjoyed seeing them in real life and got some festive inspiration. I loved making the samples for the day.

Stampin' Up! - 25 Year Anniversary

2013 is Stampin' Up!'s 25th Anniversary and October is the month that the company started all those years ago.

There have been celebrations and promotions all year but October is shaping up to be even more exciting. There are promotions that will only run in October and there are other promotions being announced in October that will run for lng than the month.

Stampin' Up! is bringing back some of our favourite stamp images and combining them into 11 sets, which will be released, one set per month, until April 2014.

At Home Classes

I run classes in my home every month - usually in the second week of each month - though I am doing some extra Christmas classes in addition to my regular monthly classes in October and November.

Classes cost $15 and we make 2 projects. Everything is supplied (including morning tea or supper) so you only need to bring yourself - and maybe a friend!

Evening classes start at 7.15 and finish by 9.30pm. Daytime classes start at 9.30am and finish by 11.45am.

This week was "Christmas Class 1" - lots of taping and construction with a pop-up present card. Classes did run a little over time - my apologies - though the end results were stunning! An ambitious project for a class but everyone did well.

We are making a Christmas cracker and a gift card holder. The cracker can be untied and filled with goodies - and reused! The gift card holder opens to reveal a slot to place a gift card e.g iTunes card, Mitre10 gift card etc. The ornament is the "fastener".
