Hi 

Wow it's August already - doesn't time fly when you are having fun - and I sure have had plenty of fun things going on with creativeJax generally, and Stampin' Up! in particular.

Stampin' Up! has a fantastic Big Shot promotion this month.

Up-Coming Classes
It's one of my favourite weeks of the month this week - Class Week.

The cards both feature the use of the Big Shot and either the 2013-2015 or 2014-2016 In-Colors. We will also be using the two step stamping technique with some of the new photopolymer stamps sets.

2014 - 2015 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue
I'm still loving the new catalogue and hope you are too. There are so many great new products it's hard to choose what to order and use first!

Holiday Catalogue Launch
While I'm still drooling over the new Annual Catalogue, the release of the 2014 Holiday Catalogue is just around the corner.

The Holiday Catalogue goes live on 28 August - just over a week away! 
As demonstrators we have access to the catalogue for about a month before they go live and I have already placed an order. I was very excited when the courier man made a delivery on Friday!

I will be holding a
"Drop-In and Meet the Catalogue" Launch on Wednesday 27 August. 

Please feel free to drop in anytime between 1pm and 8pm to receive your new catalogue and view a selection of new products and samples. 

As addition to viewing products from the Holiday Catalogue, I will have the Big Shot and accessories available to try before the Big Shot Promotion ends on 31 August.

I must admit that Beth and I had Christmas Carols playing on Friday evening as we made our first projects with the beautiful new products - and it was only the beginning of August!

I would love to see you on the 27th - please drop me an email or text if you are going to be able to call in. 

Remember there are some products still available to order from last year's Holiday Catalogue on the Carryover list. These products are only available while stocks last until the 27 August - so if there is something on that list you are keen to purchase then time is running out. 

Re-Inking your Classic Stampin' Ink Pad
Our Classic Stampin' Ink Pads are formulated to work perfectly with our cardstock - of course they work great with other cardstock but when used together they produce superb stamped images.

 You may know that the pads in the Classic Stampin' Up! Pads were redesigned a couple of years ago to use a firm foam and they are more juicy than the older cloth covered pads. Both types of pad will last many years longer than the ink that is in them so it's important to know how to re-ink them. As the new pads are juicier they are likely to require re-inking more frequently than the older style.

It is always a great idea to purchase the re-inker bottles when you get your pads - that way not only will you be ready to re-ink the pads when they need to be, but you will have the ink for all sorts of other uses too! 

The ink refill bottles are available individually for all exclusive Stampin' Up! colours or as sets of the colour collections. Refill bottles are also available for the range of other ink pads in the catalogue.

So if your images are not as dark as they used to be when you use your ink pad - it may be time to re-ink them. If you don't have any re-inker bottles you can purchase them online HERE or get in touch with me (jackie@creativejax.co.nz or 027 348 3901)
