Hi
March already! - WOW - that means it's the last
month of SALE-A-Bration already!
Firstly - My apologies for the lack of newsletters and contact.
As my regular class attendees know, I had sinus surgery in late January. I knew this January surgery date before Christmas and had
to wait on CT and MRI results and surgeon availability. Not being sure what the problem was was one of the reasons we had a very quiet Festive Season. Am pleased to report that things were much better than the specialist's initial diagnosis and I am recovering well.
Surgery and healing time has meant things like Newsletters, my Blog
and keeping in touch with people have taken a back seat. I managed to hold most of my February classes last week which meant I saw many of my regular stamping friends - yay! I have certainly been touched by the care and concern shown to me by those aware of what was going go - thanks!
Not that February was all doom and gloom!
Roy and I had a friend visit from Canada. We lived in Regina, Saskatchewan for 2 years in the late '80s, and returned there together after 25 years last March. This prompted one of our dear friends, Nonie, to organise her first ever visit to New Zealand. While I couldn't join her on all her travels as we'd originally planned, she had an "amazing", and very
busy, holiday with my sister and Roy. I did get to join them for a few days which was great.
So March sees me much healed and getting back to normality - whatever that may actually be.
I am in the process of
organising a Stampin' Up! Extravaganza which will be held in the middle of July. The Extravaganza will be a day event where five classes will be taught by different demonstrators from the wider Stampin' Up! Team that I am part of. This has been in the planning stage for a few months and I had hoped to hold it later this month but postponed it due to my surgery. So save the date - Saturday 18th July - and I'll provide you with more retails in the coming
Newsletters.
I was super excited that registration for the Stampin' Up! Convention opened this week. This is being held in the Gold Coast at the end of April. I now have flights, accommodation and registration sorted! Convention is one of the
highlights of the year and this will be my third. I am looking forward to having some of my thINK Creative Team members at Convention with me - yay! (ps It's not too late to get to convention - get in touch if you're interested in joining me in the Gold Coast!)
