Hi All,

WOW - we are already more than halfway through the month - so I'm picking that 2017 is going to zoom by!

January is always a busy time in the Stampin' Up! year - with the launch of the new Occasions catalogue and the start of Sale-A-Bration - and this year has been no different than usual on that front.

Over the "break" I have been catching up on the pile of paperwork - including updating my mailing list for newsletters. So if this is your first real Newsletter from me - welcome! I hope you find something of interest.

Two fabulous Challenge Facebook Groups open to all Stampin' Up! Enthusiasts

As many of you know, I've been on the Design Team of CASE'ing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop & Challenge for more than a year - in fact, I'm the only Kiwi on the team. It's just as well my fellow Crew members - all Aussie demos - are so friendly! I've enjoyed this group so much and loved meeting them at On Stage in Brisbane in November.

CASE stands for either "Copy And Selectively Edit", or "Copy And Share Everything". Either way - taking inspiration from the projects in the catalogues is a great place to start when you're crafting. There is still a Blog Hop by the Design Team every Sunday evening, but the challenge is now hosted in a Facebook Group - Here is the link to the CASEing the Catty Facebook Group

A new Challenge that is based around colours has recently started, and I'm delighted to also be on the Design Team of Colour INKspiration - yay!

Again, there is a regular Blog Hop with the Design Team - this time on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. And the Challenge is hosted in on the Colour INKspiration Facebook Group - Here is the link to the Colour INKspiration Facebook Group.

The Design Teams for both groups are based in the South Pacific. Any Stampin' Up! enthusiast is welcome to join one or both the groups - not just demos!

Some of you are already members of these Facebook Groups which is fabulous! If you're not a member and would like to be - just click on the links above and ask to join. Again anyone can join in the challenges if you wish to - not just Stampin' Up! demos - or you can join and just enjoy seeing all the creations being posted by crafters from throughout the world.

I know you will find lots of inspiration in these groups!

2017 Occasions Catalogue & SAB Launch Parties

What a fun time we had at my recent launch parties!

I love it when we get a new catalogue - a great reason to do lots of creating - and to throw a bit of a party. I did enjoy seeing many of you here in Whitby at the launches on Sunday 8th January.

There were lots of samples and products on display and the Make'n'Takes and the Ronald McDonald Make'n'Donates were a fabulous way to try out some of the new goodies from the catalogues.

As well as several spot prize winners at these parties, there was a Main Prize Draw - won by Alexia! Alexia's prize included a stamp set and goodies, along with a Creative Jax Class for up to four adults.

In addition to the two parties here at the studio - I also ran an Online Launch Party.

Let's just say that was a learning curve! It didn't go quite as I planned and there are many, many things I would do differently next time! Thank you to all who joined in with the Online Launch by Attending, Liking, Commenting and/or watching the Live Videos.

I am following up with the winners of cards and a SAB stamp set.

Beth's Jelly Tip Cupcakes were a winner!

And our standard Ferris wheel display was definitely in keeping with one of the new product suites - Cupcakes and Carousels.

Classes-to-Go #01 Beautiful You

That's my aim!

"Classes-to-go" are an exciting new service I am now offering to help me with that aim.

Classes-to-Go are available to be pre-ordered by anyone throughout New Zealand.

These are classes which are based around a particular product - usually a stamp set.

You preorder and pay for the products, which I order and have delivered to me. I then package them with your FREE goodies that are part of Classes-to-Go (card stock, envelopes, etc) before posting them to you.

You will also receive a pdf tutorial and a video link with instructions showing how to make the projects.

My first Class-to-Go is based around the Beautiful You stamp set ($59/$82) and the Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils ($33.50). The image above shows the items included.

COST: $120 - includes red rubber stamp set for use with clear blocks

$144 - includes wood-mounted red rubber stamp set

Stitched Shapes Framelits

That image is hardly very exciting I hear you think - but I was so pleased on Monday when we got the official word from Stampin' Up! that the Stitched Shape Framelits were once again able to be ordered! Yay!

These were released late last year - but they sold out so quickly that many people missed out on them. Now's your chance to get them!
