Hi All,
Well, it has continued to be busy in our
household - so I thought I'd share a little about that with you. Feel free to just skip on down if you only want the Stampin' Up! news.
We have all been sick with head/chest colds but thankfully are back in good health now!
I took a week off work and accompanied Roy to a TransTasman Masters Hockey Tournament in Whangarei earlier in the month. This
particular tournament is held every two years. It was great to see other players and their partners - most of whom I haven't seen since the World Hockey Cup in Singapore in 2011! I am so proud of Roy - his commitment to trialling, training and then playing at this competitive level is inspirational! While Australia won the Challenge Cup overall - Roy's team had a clean sweep against their competition. Three games in four days is hard work and to win them all convincingly was fabulous!
Wearing the Silver Fern is a fantastic motivation!
Our daughter Beth is busy with her Masters Thesis and has just received Ethics Approval for her survey, so will begin gathering data very soon. I am so grateful that she has also managed to bake for my classes! Always a tasty treat!
Meanwhile our son Ross is in the midst of rehearsals for the upcoming New Zealand Opera
Season of Carmen. We are looking forward to seeing this Opera for the first time in a couple of weeks.
Beth and I are counting down until we go to Thailand for the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip I earned last year. I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again - thank you to all who helped me earn this amazing reward - it is truly appreciated! I
do what I do because I love sharing Stampin' Up! with others - but earning the trips is an amazing recognition of the effort put in to do this. Thanks!
